Born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi, Emmy award-winning filmmaker Don Wilson was deeply moved by the losses of his family and friends. In this film, he returns home to talk to those who lived through the hurricane and continue to struggle with life in the aftermath of the biggest natural disaster in American history. Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): L.B states that Brenda is a product of his father's old ways, long before he married the mother of Leroy, Vera and himself. However, this would make Brenda older than the three of them, and it is clearly obvious (and also stated) that Brenda is the youngest of them all.
