Plot Outline: Double-cross, triple cross, the age old problem of the abuse of power. In Film Noir style, dirty detective Nails interrogates Lips, while femme-fatal Rita gets her man, Hank.

Plot Outline: In this classic Edgar Allan Poe story, a man commits a murder, but afterward the victim's beating heart torments the murderer's mind.
Plot: Adapted from the story by Edgar Allan Poe: A young man is being dominated, insulted, and mistreated by the older man whose lodgings he shares. Finally, one night he enters the older man's room and kills him. Afterwards, the young man grows increasingly nervous, and he becomes convinced that he can still hear the dead man's heart beating.
